On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from approximately 1:08 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. (UTC), some customers experienced errors when attempting to access the Learner Experience (LX).
These issues were caused by a third-party vendor service outage that disrupted an LX framework update. During this outage, our system defaulted to routing users to an older and unsupported framework, causing access errors. The vendor resolved their service outage by 4:25 p.m. (UTC), and the LX returned to normal performance shortly after.
To prevent this type of issue in the future, we are updating our code to remove the dependency on the vendor service for this LX framework update and to route users to the new LX framework by default.
No data loss occurred as a result of this issue.
