KMSAT - Training and Phishing Campaign Issues (US only)
Incident Report for KnowBe4
Postmortem

On Thursday, 12/1/2022, from approximately 10:36 a.m. (ET) until 4:14 p.m. (ET), some KMSAT phishing and training campaigns started late.

This incident was caused by an update that introduced a slow query. As database usage increased, the slow query began to affect other queries and cause delays. Once the issue was resolved, KMSAT was able to return to normal performance by 4:14 p.m. (ET).

To prevent this type of issue in the future, we are adding additional testing and reviews to our workflow.

No data loss occurred as a result of the issue.
