On Wednesday, 4/7/2021, from approximately 4:10 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. (ET), some users were unable to log in to the KMSAT console.
This incident was caused by a server-side issue that affected a large majority of organizations in the Southeast region of the United States. KnowBe4 applications were temporarily moved to a different region, allowing the platform to return to normal performance by 2:15 p.m. (ET).
To help identify and resolve this type of issue in the future, we are creating tools that will help us determine the root cause of these types of issues faster.
No data loss occurred as a result of this issue.
